The state of Massachusetts announced on January 25th, 2023, that the moving expense deduction that was allowed last year (Tax Year 2021) has been changed for Tax Year 2022. Therefore, unless you are a member of the U.S. Armed Forces, there is no longer a moving expense deduction allowed in MA in tax year 2022.
